Sudanese army accused of using live bullets on protestors

Security forces in Sudan have used teargas and baton charges in an effort to break up the anti-AlBashir protest by tens of thousands of peaceful anti-government demonstrators who have been camping for more than 48 hours in central Khartoum.

There were reports of live gunfire and stun grenades being used by the Sudanese government security forces on protesters who were participating in a mass sit-in for a second successive night outside the headquarters of the Sudanese army in the capital Khartoum. The protesters demand the country’s military back their calls for President Omar al-Bashir to resign.
