President Rajoelina announces the discovery of a treatment

After announcing a few weeks ago that there are medicinal plants in Madagascar such as Artemisia, which can cure Covid-19, President Andry Rajoelina said on Sunday that the research results have been conclusive.

Besides, the president announced that his country will launch “an improved traditional remedy that is both preventive and curative”. This is the “Covid-Organics” developed by scientists from the Malagasy Institute for Applied Research (IMRA).

“Madagascar produces the largest quantity and best quality of Artemisia annua in Africa. This plant is already used in the fight against malaria and fever “, stated President Rajoelina.

He continued: “We can say that it has given a conclusive result on Covid-19 patients in Madagascar and that it can limit and mitigate its effects on the human body”.
